Photography?
I am super excited because after a brief stint away in Europe, I am back on Mount Desert Island, living in Bar Harbor, and accepting photography reservations for family, couples, engagement, and portrait sessions! My life as a photographer began years ago taking photos of my family, friends, and school.
But now I’m available for others!
While living here for the past few years, I have learned the light and found a ton of great spots on the island. And, walking around these past few days—I see one adorable couple after the next and I have to stop myself from running up to them and explaining how much fun it would be to do a photoshoot in the park.
“OH, YOU HAVE NO IDEA” I want to say, “I COULD TAKE THE BEST PHOTOS OF YOU!!” I feel my fingers itching for my camera and I think, “AND WE WOULD HAVE SO MUCH FUN!!!!”
Something comes alive in me—a spark ignites—my adrenaline starts pumping—and my eyes and brain and feet go into high drive exploring the world for the perfect balance of emotion, light, energy, and color.
The past few weeks have been full of designing and coding my website and organizing the archives (which I’m still working on). Over the next few weeks, I will be accepting limited reservations because I want to devote quality time to each session.
Before I take off for a hike up Sargent Mountain today, I am activating my voicemail and putting up posters. My battery is charging and my camera bag is ready to go. My friends, I’ll keep you updated.

You should check out my tumblr. I’ve been obsessed with the GIFs floating around and have collected my favorites here: http://awildsoul.tumblr.com/. My stomach was sore after laughing so hard from them! I don’t think I’ll keep them up forever so check them out now.
Europe
France & Italy were wonderful. Sarah and I went via train from our language school to the southern coast of France (Marseilles, Cassis, Cannes, Nice—>took a ferry to Corsica—>took another ferry to Italy & then visited Florence and Rome!).
Before leaving Paris, we stopped and met up with friends of friends in Lyon and had the best time.
The whole semester was a dream & I doubt I’ll experience anything like it in my life again.
I will share pictures here eventually, I promise.
