Goat Rock Beach

“I will not die an unlived life.
I will not live in fear
of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days,
to allow my living to open me,
to make me less afraid,
more accessible;
to loosen my heart
until it becomes a wing,
a torch, a promise.
I choose to risk my significance,
to live so that which came to me as seed
goes to the next as blossom,
and that which came to me as blossom,
goes on as fruit.”

― Dawna Markova

We managed to leave the cabin just in time to catch the sun setting at Goat Rock Beach.

I did that thing that’s probably not very safe where I take pictures while driving.

It was just so freakin’ beautiful.

After we parked, Charlie took off racing over the dunes to the water.

We caught up and danced and played while the sun set magnificently around us.

And it was all so beautiful, I kept taking pictures even after the light was gone.

* Thank you Sara Shor for recommending Goat Rock Beach, Armstrong Redwoods, and the wonderful winery we visited.
